fantasy football injuries draft

Although not often, collusion in fantasy football leagues are known to occur, and when it does, often causes a lot of problems. Collusion is when it appears that a couple teams are working together to give one of his teams the best chance of winning the fantasy playoffs. Typically this occurs between a computer that is having no luck to win and a team that this is because of personal friendship or some sort of supply under the table, can be unfair for the other teams in the league who see trade as uneven. In most leagues, the commissioner has veto power over the operations to prevent collusion this, but doing so may create antipathy among some of the teams in the league to the commissioner and an unfortunate break for the season.

Although there is no way completely eliminate the leagues of the possibility of collusion, there are some ways to help reduce the chances. Here are a few:

1. Create weekly prizes. So to the computer that has the highest points each week, receive a cash prize. Some leagues even reward the 2nd and 3rd place each week. Thus, each team has the opportunity to earn money each week, and are not always win may want to hold onto their best players in the hope of winning.

2. Make your party a keeper league

A goalkeeper in the league means that next year, teams have the option of keeping some of their players if they follow a set of guidelines. For example, in the league where I am, I can keep a player who is drafted in rounds 4-18, while the use of a project Selection of up to 2 slots where they drafted him this year in the draft next year. Say you drafted Aaron Rodgers (GB) in the 7th round. You can keep project next year for a selection of the 5th round. Players who found a good player with a final round of selection are more likely to retain for your next project years instead of traded.

3. Charging a fee to make a trade

This has to be something substantial, and can not differ much, but you can keep your players to choose wisely their trades. For example, in our league, which costs $ 1 to make an exchange, no matter how many players are involved. The dollar is going toward our end of year party. Of course, that dollar is not much, but for someone in the "giving away" the purpose of trade, why should they pay to help his friend when he receives little in return.

4. Establish a committee to deal with collusion

Pick a couple of players before the season starts and if collusive trade arise, as a group decide if there is a problem with trade. Thus, it is not a person who takes the final decision to veto, and can avoid unhappiness to a specific player in the league.

5. Create a deadline early trading

Making trade deadline of his league somewhere between weeks 7 and 9. In this way, players can still have the opportunity to make the playoffs if things go well (but are 2-5 or 3-4 at the time) is less likely to trade away the best players. In addition, players who are playing well in Week 7 or 8 may not play the same at week 13 or 14 when playoffs start, so that the definition of "good player" at this point are less conclusive. A trade may seem restrictive practices in Week 8 can be the opposite in week 12 due to team injuries or clashes.

I'll say it again, collusion does not happen often, and I'm not trying to make it look like something that should always be looking out in their leagues. I'm just saying the possibility exists, but there are ways reduce the chances and allow their league to have a more positive experience without having to worry about these possibilities.
